| 1. Initiating: Making contact with the customer and getting information about the nature of the project. Having a walk through to determine risks, problem areas and scope of work. Determine material and labour costs, overhead and profit margin. Preparing the quote. |
| 2. Planning: Getting project awarded. Receiving down payment. Making drawings, time schedules and determine work crew, organizing suppliers and manufacturers. |
| 3. Executing: Conducting work according to drawings, strengthen safety. Getting deliveries on site. Having regular meetings with owner or general contractor. Planning schedules with other trades. |
| 4. Controlling: Tracking working hours and material. Cross checking on scope of work and addressing additional work not covert in the bid. Progress invoicing. |
| 5. Closing: Wrapping up the project on time within budged. Working on deficiencies and having final payments released. |
